Even though there has been a lot to comment on, I have not been moved to post anything. When you are broke & unemployed,its really quite hard to keep your focus. I came out of my shell today because I heard that Aretha Franklin has pancreatic cancer. That is what drove me to write something on my blog.

The legendary soul singer was rumored to have undergone gastric bypass surgery & her fans were praying for her success.Remember that vigil?

Her cancelled concerts drummed up a lot of speculation regarding her "mystery illness." Unfortunately,the mystery has been solved.

Aretha Franklin,"I Say A Little Prayer For You." As a cancer survivor, I pray you will be known as a singer whose soul cancer couldn't even take.
