A Religious Clash Between Christian & Muslim Nigerians Cause A Riot That Kills Over 300!

There is a terrible riot that broke out in Nigeria. The Nigerian Red Cross says that the clashes have been so bad that over 10,000 folks have left their homes.Watch the video for the full report. Here's more on the cause of the riot from BBC:

"The mostly Christian-backed governing party, the People's Democratic Party, was declared to have won the state elections in Plateau state, of which Jos is the capital city.

The result was contested by the opposition All Nigeria People's Party, which has support from Muslims.

Violence started on Thursday night as groups of angry youths burnt tyres on the roads over reports of election rigging.

Bodies from the Muslim Hausa community were brought into the central mosque compound.

The local imam, Sheikh Khalid Abubakar, said more than 300 dead bodies were brought there on Saturday alone.

Those killed in the Christian community would probably be taken to the city morgue, raising the possibility that the total death toll could be much higher."(END OF EXCERPT) Read the rest here:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7756695.stm

Lebron James Gives Charles Barkley A Piece Of His Mind!

Let me reiterate that I find Charles Barkley to be a very unlikeable man. He is rude & abrasive which is just the type of guy that I loathe. So, when Lebron James called him "stupid" I was pleased. You see, it seeems like Mr. Barkley always has some negative comment to make. He shouldn't give a hot flying you-know-what about Lebron James or anyone else. You go, Lebron!

Will Ugandan LRA Leader, Joseph Kony, Sign A Peace Deal That Will End A 20 Year Rebellion?

Will the leader of the Ugandan Lord's Resistance Army,Joseph Kony, actually sign the peace deal to end Uganda's 20-yr. rebellion or will he be a no-show? Because he feared for his safety, he neglected to appear at previous signing ceremonies. Joseph Kony is accused of being a war criminal & he must first sign this deal before he faces the International Criminal Court to deal with those accusations. Here's more from BBC:

"Earlier, Uganda's government said it would ask for arrest warrants for Mr Kony to be lifted if he signed.

But Ugandan Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa made it clear that Mr Kony must sign the deal first before the issue of the International Criminal Court (ICC) was addressed.

"We were only prepared to talk to the ICC about an alternative method of resolving that dispute, and also of justice in the country, only if peace is going to come to the people of northern Uganda," he told the BBC's World Today programme." This first video shows a press conference that Joseph Kony held about a year ago. Some of the very young members of the army are questioned & you can see Joseph Kony up close & personal. He blames not himself, but the Ugandan government, for all of Uganda's woes. The second video talks about the 20-year conflict & how it has affected Northern Uganda. It is very edifying.
