A Boston Rastafarian Man Can Sue Jiffy Lube Over His Religious Practices!

A Boston Rastafarian man who, is employed with Jiffy Lube, can sue the company over their grooming policy because it interferes with his religious practices. In order to continue working directly with the public,Bobby Brown was told that he would have to cut his dreads & shave. That goes against the whole Rastafari religion. "A Rastafarian man who refused to shave off his beard or cut his hair to comply with Jiffy Lube's employee grooming policy can take his religious discrimination case to trial, Massachusetts' highest court ruled Tuesday.

The Supreme Judicial Court reversed a decision by a Superior Court judge who had dismissed Bobby T. Brown's lawsuit against Jiffy Lube before a trial.

Brown worked as a technician at a Hadley Jiffy Lube business owned by F.L. Roberts & Co. Inc.

In 2002, after Jiffy Lube put a new grooming policy in place requiring employees who worked with customers to be clean-shaven, Brown told management that his religion does not permit him to shave or cut his hair. Managers then said Brown could work only in lower bays where he did not have contact with customers.

Brown filed a discrimination lawsuit in state court in 2006. A Superior Court judge agreed with the company that it had the right to control its public image and found that it would be an undue hardship on the company to grant Brown an exemption from the grooming policy.

But the SJC disagreed, saying Jiffy Lube had not proven that no other accommodation was possible for Brown without imposing an undue hardship on the company." (END OF EXCERPT) Read the rest here:

World's Oldest Ganja Stash Found In China!

Now, the cannibas that was found in the tomb of a shaman was probably buried there for medicinal purposes. Scientists are unsure whether it was smoked back then or what. But, that pot was 2,700 years old & it was potent because it had a high THC level! How cool is that! And you know that Rastafarians believe that it was found on King Solomon's grave! " Researchers say they have located the world's oldest stash of marijuana, in a tomb in a remote part of China.

The cache of cannabis is about 2,700 years old and was clearly ``cultivated for psychoactive purposes," rather than as fibre for clothing or as food, says a research paper in the Journal of Experimental Botany.

The 789 grams of dried cannabis was buried alongside a light-haired, blue-eyed Caucasian man, likely a shaman of the Gushi culture, near Turpan in northwestern China.

The extremely dry conditions and alkaline soil acted as preservatives, allowing a team of scientists to carefully analyze the stash, which still looked green though it had lost its distinctive odour.

"To our knowledge, these investigations provide the oldest documentation of cannabis as a pharmacologically active agent," says the newly published paper, whose lead author was American neurologist Dr. Ethan B. Russo.

Remnants of cannabis have been found in ancient Egypt and other sites, and the substance has been referred to by authors such as the Greek historian Herodotus. Former Pop Star From Rwanda,Simon Bikindi, Gets 15 Years For Helping To Incite Genocide!

Simon Bikindi,the man in the white clothing, got 15 years in prison for his using his influence to incite genocide against the Tutsi. The Rwanda genocide will never fade from the memories of so many. Almost 15 years later, Bikindi received his punishment for his part in it. Here's more from Fox News:

"A U.N. court sentenced a former pop star to 15 years in prison on Tuesday for his part in inciting Rwanda's 1994 genocide.

Presiding Judge Monica Weinberg de Roca said Tuesday that Simon Bikindi used a public address system to tell Hutus to exterminate Tutsi "snakes" and wrote hate-filled propaganda in his lyrics.
