A Catastrophic Earthquake Kills Over 130 People In Italy!

There are at least 130 people dead in Italy because of a violent earthquake that caused major destruction.It has even flattened towns!The aftermath of that earthquake was truly devastating.Not only did this catastrophe kill people,it also left about 50,000 folks homeless!They will all be in my prayers.Here's more on this tragedy from Reuters:

"A powerful earthquake struck central Italy early on Monday, killing more than 130 people, making up to 50,000 homeless and flattening entire medieval towns while residents slept.

As rescue workers combed through the rubble for survivors and rushed to set up tents for the homeless before night fell, officials warned the death toll could rise further and declined to estimate the number of missing.

Most of the dead were in L'Aquila, a 13th century mountain city about 100 km (60 miles) east of Rome, and nearby towns and villages in the Abruzzo region. The quake struck shortly after 3.30 a.m. (0130 GMT) and aftershocks rattled the area throughout the day.

"Some towns in the area have been virtually destroyed in their entirety," said Gianfranco Fini, speaker of the lower house of parliament, as MPs observed a moment of silence.

Abruzzo's regional government said more than 130 people were confirmed dead, some 16 hours after the quake struck with a magnitude of between 5.8 and 6.3. ANSA news agency quoted hospital sources as saying more than 150 people had died.

"I woke up hearing what sounded like a bomb," said L'Aquila resident Angela Palumbo, 87.

Plaxico Buress Is No Longer A NY Giant!

The Giants have released Plaxico Burress because of his ignorant actions late last year.Not only did he shoot himself in the leg,Plaxico has shot his career down with one dumb ass move.Damn,these celebrities should have bodyguards that pack for them!And if I had a boatload of money,I would bring the party to me.Why go to a nightclub when you know there are way too many haters out there?

"The New York Giants released Plaxico Burress a little more than four months after the 31-year-old accidentally shot himself in the thigh with an unlicensed gun in a New York City nightclub.

A Malawian Judge Tells Madonna That She Cannot Adopt A Malawian Child!

Madonna is rich & she has loads of money.But,that didn't matter to Esme Chombo!She is the Malawian judge that denied her adoption bid.And I think that it's a good thing that she did.

I don't see Madonna's adopted son,David,being brought up in the African tradition.The same goes for the little girl & boy that Angelina Jolie adopted.Both her & Madonna seem to be raising these children outside of their culture.These children should be able to identify & relate to people of their own race.It is imperative that these children are taught about their real heritage & traditions.
