Did You Hear About The "Cocaine Cast"?!

A man with a broken leg thought he found the perfect way to smuggle cocaine into Spain.His leg was in a cast made of compressed cocaine.Although his leg was really broken,investigators are looking into whether he did it on purpose or not.Wow!People really will do anything to make their cash flow!Here's more from the Telegraph:

"A Chilean man with a broken leg has been arrested at Barcelona airport after his cast was found to be made of cocaine, not plaster, Spanish officials said.
The 66-year-old was also carrying six beer cans and two hollowed-out stools that had been packed with cocaine and re-sealed, police said.

The man, whose left shin was genuinely broken, was carrying about 11 pounds of the drug when he was arrested at Barcelona's El Prat airport after arriving from Santiago, Chile, police said.

Officers are investigating whether his injuries were inflicted intentionally so he could smuggle the drugs with the cocaine cast.

Spain is a major European gateway for cocaine from Latin America and airport officials pay especially close attention to passengers on flights from Peru, Colombia and Chile, police spokesman Jose Antonio Nin said.
