Janet Jackson Is Supposedly Pregnant By Jermaine Dupri!

It seems like there's always a rumored pregnancy in Janet Jackson's life. According to all of the unsubstantiated gossip out there, she has a grown child with James Debarge. She has shot that story down as being completely false over the years. Well, with the recent bout of illness that she experienced, we should have known that the rumors that she's sperminated would resurface. There are several gossip sites claiming that she will confirm this pregnancy any day now. If she is expecting a baby, I want to congratulate Jermaine Dupri & Janet Jackson.

One Of The Greatest Reggae Bands Of Our Time: Midnite!

Here is an interview with one of the greatest reggae bands period! Midnite hails from the beautiful island of St.Croix. They are the #1 band in the Virgin Islands. The interviewer gets a little flustered once Vaughn Benjamin addresses all peoples of the African continent & diaspora. I love this band wholeheartedly because their music touches my soul. This song that I included is called "New Life" & it's about the pride of becoming a father. The lyrics to their songs are always deep & reflective. Here's their bio from their website Midnite St. Croix Roots:

"Hailing from the Island of St Croix, Midnite is one of the most promising roots reggae bands of the millennium. They are vanguards of conscious reggae who represent the King's and Queen's music to the fullness of Jah. Midnite's profound and innovative lyrics are sincere and deeply rooted to present the other half of the story. Their cd recordings and live performances will have reggae and non-reggae listeners open to the messages they bring.

Lead singer Vaughn Benjamin's electrifying voice seems an amalgamation of many great voices in reggae-soulful, chanting, edgy. Vaughn's potent lyrical style and his brother Ron's exquisite production, arrangements, keyboard and bass musical directorship form the nucleus of this musical yet rootsy sound, which includes Christian Molina (drums), Edmund Fieulleteau (keyboards) and Edwin Byron (guitars). Midnite weaves the cultural lyrics of "old school" roots music with modern day experiences to create a unique listening encounter. Reggae - naked and raw is an apt description for Midnite's musical style, in which they forgo the frills of extensive remixes, overdubbing and other musical refinements." Ludacris Is Heavily Involved In The Political Arena! He's Going Up Against Sarah Palin To Try To Get His Candidate Elected!

Barack Obama has inspired a change in attitude in many young black men, such as hip-hop artist, Ludacris. Ever since Obama announced his historic intentions to become the president of the United States,he woke a lot of brothers up. Life is about more than women, cars,& money. The choices you make as a public figure can have ramifications far into the future. This time rappers made a positive difference in the black community by encouraging others to get out & vote! How come no one is talking about that? Thanks, in part, to such rap illuminaries as Jay-Z,Will I Am,Ludacris,& others,Barack Obama got elected. Make no mistake about it. If it wasn't for rappers showing their support for Obama, the African-American vote would not have been as great as it was. Rap appeals to the youth whose vote was sought by both candidates. Now, Ludacris is stomping for fellow Georgian,Democrat Jim Martin, to the U.S. Senate runoff.

Big up to the reggae artists who made musical endorsements, like Cocoa Tea. Here's his song,"Barack Obama"! It's a wonderful tune!
