Oscar Grant's Killer,The Overzealous Cop,Has Been Arrested & Charged With Murder!

There is a feeling of total elation that is coursing through my body at this very moment. Why am I so happy you ask? Well, the BART cop who murdered Oscar Grant, that has been avoiding all inquiry into his actions, has been apprehended in Nevada. He's been on a quest to escape justice. All he cared about was his own safety.Apparently,Johannes Mehserle has a serious lack of regard for Oscar Grant & his family.I'm not happy about all of the rioting because that is just a display of anger that destroys businesses that had nothing to do with this incident at all! What did touch me emotionally though was all of the passion that the demonstrators felt about Grant's death.Bay Area residents sent a blaring message that they will not tolerate the murder of an unarmed citizen by a police officer. I feel that they forced the D.A. to file charges that he might not have otherwise filed. Here's more on this tragic story from the San Jose Mercury News:

""The family will certainly be relieved that the (district attorney) has made some effort to bring him to justice," said John Burris, an attorney who is representing Grant's family in a $25 million claim against BART. "This is terrific. This is a very important step in healing the community."

Mehserle refused to be interviewed by either BART investigators or Orloff's office following the incident. Videos appear to show him shooting Grant as the 22-year-old was facedown on the ground at the Fruitvale BART station.

Mehserle's resignation last week took away BART's best chance at getting a statement from him because Mehserle could no longer be fired for remaining silent.

BART concluded its own investigation into the shooting Monday, but it remained unclear until Tuesday night when he might be detained.

Oakland assistant police chief Howard Jordan said he hoped news of the arrest would calm tensions among the more than 1,000 people expected to protest the shooting today.

"We're hoping that people act civilly and they take this recent action as a sign the (district attorney) was committed to doing (the) job and moving forward with a complete, thorough and unbiased investigation," Jordan said."(END OF EXCERPT)Read the whole article here: http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_11447812?source=most_viewed

Prince Charles Thinks Nothing Is Wrong With Calling His Dark-Skinned Asian Friend "Sooty"!

There is a new controversy boiling in England because of some members of the Royal family. First,Prince Harry made racist comments about a Pakistani man. Now it has been revealed that Prince Charles has given his South Asian friend the nickname "Sooty". That would be the equivalent of a white person calling someone "darkie" as a term of endearment. Do they have antiquated views of race or what? I would be insulted, but Prince Charles's friend finds nothing wrong with it. Here's more from the Telegraph:

"The Daily Telegraph's Mandrake column disclosed that both the Prince and his two sons always referred to him as Sooty whenever they meet. That led to further criticism from anti-racism groups following the disclosure at the weekend that Prince Harry had once referred to a former Army colleague as a 'Paki'.

However, in a statement Mr Dhillon insisted he regarded the Sooty nickname as a "term of affection".

"I have to say, you know you have arrived when you acquire a nickname!" he said.

"I enjoy being called Sooty by my friends who I am sure universally use the name as a term of affection with no offence meant or felt. The Prince of Wales is a man of zero prejudice and both of his sons have always been most respectful."

Mr Dhillon, who lives on an 700-acre farm with two adjoining polo fields close to the Prince's Highgrove estate, is one of the leading figures in the Cirencester club, which is the oldest in the country. His son Satnam, 31, who has played polo for England, helps run the family property business. Mr Dhillon and his wife Jacqueline have been regular guests at Highgrove.

The Prince of Wales had been branded "out of touch" for using the Sooty nickname, which could be understood to refer to Mr Dhillon's skin colour. But Clarence House dismissed any suggestion that the Prince of Wales, the most committed member of the Royal family to forging close links with the ethnic communities, was being either offensive or racist."(END OF EXCERPT)Read the whole article here:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/theroyalfamily/4229692/Prince-Charless-friend-Sooty-says-Royal-is-not-a-racist.html

I'm sorry, guys, but Prince Harry appears to be a racist to me.He dressed up as a Nazi for Halloween before. Now he's calling other British citizens "Pakis" & "ragheads"! That's absolutely appalling because it was a candid moment for him.I'm sure he never thought that tape would be released internationally. If you look at this video, you will see how painful those racist expressions are to Muslims & Asians. There's nothing lighthearted about calling a dark-skinned Asian "Sooty". No matter what Mr. Dhillon says that is unacceptable in my view!

Lil Kim Should Be Mad At Her Plastic Surgeon Instead Of The Folks Involved With Biggie's Biopic,"Notorious"!

I don't think anyone can say that Lil' Kim's transformation has been a good one.She used to represent for the chicks from the hood. Now,she looks like a reps for all the victims of bad plastic surgery out there! There's nothing "real" about her at all!If I were Lil' Kim,I'd be mad at whoever fucked my face & body up! She used to be really cute & dope! Since she went all Michael Jackson on us,it's hard to take her seriously. And she feels that Vonetta Wallace & Faith Evans didn't take her role in Biggie's life into consideration because they didn't involve her in the making of the picture. She does not like the way that she has been portrayed in the picture, according to MTV:

"First, there were Kim's recent comments in the latest issue of Hip-Hop Weekly, where she lashed out against Faith Evans and Big's mother, Voletta Wallace.

The lady lyricist was upset that she wasn't invited to be more involved in the making of the film. Although she hasn't seen the movie yet, Kim claims the accuracy of the script is off. The rappers said a writer involved in "Notorious" — who was not identified in the article — contacted her and, during the conversation, she said she discovered mistakes in the story.

"I knew something was fishy about them having the writer call me. When I spoke to the writer I felt like he was trying to play me, so I wouldn't give up anything," Kim explained to the magazine. "I knew I wouldn't have control of how I was depicted. I did correct the writer about Biggie's nickname for me. He had written that Biggie called me Big Momma. Biggie never called me Big Momma. As a matter of fact, he didn't even like that name for me. He used to call me Mookie."(END OF EXCERPT)The entire article can be located here: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1602443/20090109/lil_kim.jhtml

Sorry, but Lil'Kim can't be mad that she wasn't depicted as Biggie's main woman.I think that's the real reason behind her beef with the movie.Damn, the movie looks good, though!I'm definitely going to see that when it hits the theaters in California!
