Jesse Jackson Jr. Says That The ACORN Scandal Is Really About Poor People Voting!

With all the negative publicity that ACORN is receiving, I thought I'd give you a different perspective on this organization.Watch the video.

Jesse Jackson Jr. makes an excellent point about this voter registration fraud scandal that involves ACORN(Association of Community Organization for Reform Now). He said:
"Why are they after ACORN? Well, I'm sure they're going to come up with a lot of "reasons" in the coming days. But the real reason is obvious: Because ACORN, along with Project Vote, just announced that they had successfully registered 1.3 million poor people this year.

Get that? 1.3 million, including 148,000 in Pennsylvania, 152,000 in Florida, 217,000 in Michigan, and 238,000 in Ohio. No wonder the GOP is up in arms. They're scared of too many poor people preparing to vote this year."

Jesse Jackson Jr. also recounted his knowledge of the history of voter fraud. He made the point that no fraud has actually been committed until the fake registrant votes. So far, none of these fake people have shown up to vote. Where was this outrage 4 years ago? It all just seems like a bogus claim to me. They don't want the disaffected to cast a vote. Especially not close to a million of them. All votes should be legitimate this time around. When McCain loses, expect a demand for a recount. We should all anticipate a concerted effort by the republicans to steal the election from Obama. They've done it before & we all know that history repeats itself. So much for reform, John McCain!

Is James T. Harris Really A McCain Supporter?!! Really???

This is the John McCain supporter that I was speaking of in the last post! Is this guy serious? If I did not like Barack Obama , I just would not vote period! What does this guy think that McCain will do for minorities? During the republican primaries, he didn't show up at two events that addressed the concerns of minorities. Maybe this guy thinks he's part of the majority. John McCain will only help those who don't need it. The uppercrust of society has been his focus during this election. I would love to talk to Mr. Harris about his passion for McCain. It's mind-boggling to me! But at least John McCain was finally pictured with a black person. Not only that, they actually embraced. Mr. Harris better savor that hug from McCain because that's the only love he'll get from him. In fact, that's the most love he's shown the black community during this entire election!

Is The McCain/Palin Rhetoric Intended To Incite Rage? If Not, That's What They Are Doing!

It's deeply infuriating to be viewed as a whole race. God created individuals. Man created race. I am black & people have preconceived notions about me before I utter one single word to them! On far too many instances, my character has been assassinated simply because of the tone of my skin. The assumptions have already been made about me in a racist mind. What are these preconceived notions that I speak of? For the impoverished black, you must be uneducated, promiscuous, dishonest,& just plain lazy. You may be a victim of circumstance when you are poor. In the mind of a bigot, you are the reason for your situation being so dire. And if you are an educated black person you must have an angle. What might these angles be in the mind of a racist? Well,if you're concerned about the plight of the black man or woman you are deemed a communist. You are a radical liberal if you speak out on the travails of the poor. You are a socialist when you want to implement programs to help struggling communities. At least in the putrid mind of the racist individual.
Who do I conceptualize when I think of a race hater? The trivial minded McCain supporters that are shown in this video are the perfect illustration. Lately, they have been yelling out hateful comments at these rallies due to the atmosphere that the McCain ticket has fashioned. It almost feels like a KKK gathering rather than a campaign rally! That was until I finally saw a black McCain supporter stand up & demand more aggression from him. I don't know if he is an artificial enthusiast or not. What was apparent was that this was the only black person that I saw there. John McCain & Sarah Palin can see that they are inciting anger with their rhetoric. They should not only abandon these divisive tactics but it is imperative that they condemn these insulting remarks!
