McCain Helper Lied About Black Obama Supporter Robbing & Attacking Her!

For everyone's "edification", this is an opinion blog. I do include news articles to reinforce my views on particular issues. I did not post my opinion of this story because I felt it was untrue.It is imperative to understand that because Fox news aired a story that was completely racist & bogus! There are a whole lot of folks who view them as a news organization.Apparently, they reported that Ashley Todd,a McCain helper, was attacked by a 6'4 black man Wedneday night in Pennsylvania.She said it was because she had a McCain sticker on her car. According to her, the black man who beat her & marked her face with a "B" was a Obama supporter. This was supposed to be an example of just how intense Barack Obama's backers really are.

Rick Sanchez of CNN reported today that it was all a hoax. He mentioned the fact that this story was not reported on by CNN. He felt that Fox & other "news" associations should thoroughly check the facts before they run with a story like this. Apparently, it was discussed all over talk radio as if it were a fact. I hope they all express their outrage over the fact that it was all a hoax!

The McCain campaign issued a statement to CNN saying that she is not a paid campaign worker. And that's because it turns out that Ashley Todd is a self-mutilator & a liar! The "attack" that she claimed took place could have sent another innocent black man to prison. I guess to Ashley Todd black men are dispensable.It seems that racism is an incorrigible issue in our society.

I was the victim of an assault by a black man in 2007. The assailant is still on the loose. The police had a suspect that looked like the guy but I was attacked from behind. I was not a 100 percent so I could not bring myself to say it was their suspect. What if it wasn't the right person? Too many innocent black men are in prison already. This woman apparently has no conscience! Did she make this whole thing up because she thought it would help John McCain? What a horrid young woman! The good news is that she is facing charges for making this shit up!

The Congo War Is The Most Violent War Since World War II

There is more than economic woes in the Congo. Women are being treated as economic pawns & are raped in the most brutal fashion imaginable. There is an election going on in America that has the whole country enraptured. Is that the reason we haven't heard more about it? No, because the Congo War has been taking place for 10 years. It has not received a whole lot of media attention.The coverage of the Congo War has been pretty sparse & sporadic.Here is an excerpt from a CNN report on the Congo War's effect on women:

On the purpose of the Congo War;

"The struggle for control of Congo's rich natural resources -- the CIA Factbook says it is "endowed with vast potential wealth" in diamonds, gold and cobalt -- has fueled much of the violence today, activists say.

Since 1998, various armed factions -- tribal, rebel and militia -- have fought for control of the country and its resources. UNICEF says the war has cost more lives than any other war since World War II.

Rape has become a primary weapon in that war, says Geoffrey Keele, a UNICEF spokesman. Keele says rape is designed to destroy the Congolese community. Husbands, families and villages often shun rape victims. A weak and divided community is easier to conquer..."

On the cruelty & maltreatment of Congolese women;

"It's 'femicide,' " Ensler says, using another word to describe the treatment of Congolese women. "It's the systematic destruction of women. It's an economic war fought on the bodies of women. It's the destruction of the Congolese people and life itself." Ensler and others are trying to stop the gruesome attacks against women by launching a series of campaigns that pivot on what Ensler says is a debatable premise -- people will care what happens to dark-skinned Africans.

The centerpiece of Ensler's campaign is "The City of Joy," an all-female village in Congo where rape victims can recover from their physical and psychological wounds. Other groups such as UNICEF have mounted similar efforts to empower Congolese women and encourage the world to act.

The world's reaction has been muted so far and Ensler, best-known as the playwright of "The Vagina Monologues," says she knows why.

I am posting this to bring attention to the pain & suffering that is going on in Africa. There is more than just starvation & AIDS going on in the motherland.It is a war-ravaged continent as well!Real humans are being subjected to the most atrocious conduct on the other side of the world. I don't understand why more people aren't outraged & rushing to the aid of the Congolese citizens! When it was ascertained that Michael Vick played a role in the maiming & killing of his dogs, the entire nation reacted explosively!Some folks wanted him to do life in prison! But,the general attitude towards Africans is one of callousness & antipathy!How is it that the murder of dogs generates more passionate concern than the systematic killing of human beings? My mind is completely baffled by that!

Madonna's Issues With Her Physicality & Age May Have Contributed To Her Divorce!

Madonna needs to frame the first image over all of her mirrors & workout equipment. Especially the t-shirt she is wearing. Healthy is not an adjective that could be applied to Madonna! The gaunt but muscular appearance of her body is such a vast difference from the way it used to look. She almost looks like a cadaver.Everyone bought more into her style than her talent.Her current look may have contributed to the dissolution of Madonna & Guy Ritchie's marriage. Now, she's never been a great beauty but she was always undeniably sexy. I don't think she is allowing herself to age gracefully but I don't think she looks like anyone's "grandma" either. Guy Ritchie was probably angered by the fact that being married to one of the world's biggest superstars didn't boost his career. In fact, it seemed to tank once they got hitched! I think he was harboring resentment because of her powerful image & personality. British men usually like their women to be proper & demure. Two things that she defintely is not.

Apparently, she was obsessed with keeping up a youthful appearance. It seemed to have wrecked her sex life & marriage. The 10 year age difference between Guy & Madonna was used by him to demean her. There is an article in the New York Post about their marital strife & impending divorce. Here's an excerpt that talks about how her fixation with her physicality & youth drove a wedge between them:
