When Obama Was Called An Arab, John McCain Said Nothing Positive About Arabs!
Remember when that woman said Obama was an Arab? What was John McCain's response? He said,"No,ma'am! Obama's a good man. He's a decent man. But if you notice,he failed to say something positive about people of Arab descent. More importantly, I have heard not a bit of blather about it! Since my blog is about all issues, I felt it was important enough to talk about here. You know I'm sensitive to this kind of stuff. Anyway, this is a video has a clip of a documentary called, "Reel Bad Arabs". It shows how Hollywood has a history of making Arabs the bad guys in movies. There are also other documentaries on youtube that show how badly most have depicted Asians & Blacks.

This Is An Outstanding Gospel About Current Politics!
This guy is preaching the gospel of truth in this video. He is laying out how blacks are treated unequal & uses examples from the current election. The fact that Sarah Palin is supposedly more qualified than Barack Obama although he is far more educated. For whites who really want to know how a lot of blacks feel, listen to this man. He speaks what most minorities know to be true. We know that John McCain & Sarah Palin don't identify with blacks. They haven't even tried to get a photo op with one single black. At least in past campaigns the presidential candidate would be snapped holding a black baby. I think that because Barack Obama is running they feel it's a lost cause. Most blacks have already pledged allegiance to the black candidate. But why haven't I heard anything about how a McCain/Palin ticket would help me? The generalizations & assumptions about blacks is racist. So take note, black people. Like the hispanics, you are just considered a vote. Promises are made only to get elected, not to be kept. John McCain has conceded Michigan just like he has the black vote. I really like this video because the theme is empowerment. That's something just having a black president will do. Don't call me racist for not considering John McCain's bid for president. He never showed any desire to get my vote. We elect those who we feel will improve the quality of our lives. It's the American way!

This Is One More Reason Why Most Blacks Don't Vote Republican!
Wow! I don't think anything that Fernando C. de Baca was taken out of context. I have experienced racism from a mexican co-worker that I had. She was trying to get a promotion & feared that others would get it instead of her. For this reason, she tried to sabotage everyone that may get in her way. That is not an uncommon scenario albeit it's not the way I operate. This job was just a source of income for me so I did not even put my bid in for a promotion. But I still did not escape her wrath.
What threw me for a loop is that she injected racism into the workday as often as she could. It's not the first time that a mexican has made their dislike for me known. I just had no idea that some hispanics have such disdain for blacks. Mr.Baca claims that the racial dissent stems from the civil rights movement. Supposedly, blacks gained greatly from all the benefits that were bestowed upon them because of that event. This is the same claim that whites who are racist make about affirmative action. We have been the victims of great oppression since the birth of this great nation. Blacks have suffered lynchings, burnings,& death throughout the twentieth century. Even though we were instrumental in the composition of this great nation. As Richard Allen,a black leader, states "blacks were the first to till the soil."
How outrageous that this man would claim that blacks came here as slaves& mexicans as conquerors. Like mexicans & puerto ricans, blacks are a collage of races. The spanish conquistadors came & conquered the indians. The anglo-saxons came & conquered the indians as well. Mexicans are not from spain. I believe that they are a hybrid race just like many americans today. Black simply means the color. It does not define a race of people with a distorted & contorted history. A lot of blacks have African, Native American, & European ancestry. Watch Henry Louis Gates on PBS. His documentaries delve deep into the mystery of african-american ancestry. Racial intolerance should be a thing of the past. America really is a melting pot. Many Americans are of mixed race like Barack Obama. A large number of people have multiracial backgrounds. Any hispanic that doesn't like blacks should first learn how to define what black is!

Steve Doocy Is A Douche! Watch the Unfair & Unbalanced In Action!
C'mon guys, you're killing me over at the Fox channel. Steve Doocy is a goofy walkie-talkie for the Mccain campaign. His role at Fox should remain " weatherman". He is not well-versed on any subject at all. Why he is interviewing people is beyond me. He truly is a village idiot! My father is a liberal reporter who works for a radio station in Berkeley. He is a very opinionated individual who has been accused of being biased. But the entire radio station is not. You have differing views being prominently featured by the programmers of the shows. Apparently, Fox has a different view of what "fair & balanced" is.
In this video, you can see for yourself what happens when you give a democratic perspective on current issues. Your mike is cut off or they constantly interrupt you. I understand why Barack Obama gave Bill O'Reilly an exclusive interview during the republican convention. He wanted to deflect from John McCain's big speech. Kudos to him for making a play because this election is a game. This makes the old adage "life is a chess game" seem perfectly true. Witness John McCain's next bold "move" which was the subject of this one-sided debate, the suspension of his campaign.
Anyone with a brain can see that John McCain is not putting "country first". Neither is George Bush. Look how long he took to come out & talk to the country about the economic strife we are facing. When George Bush finally did, it was without any accountability on the major role he has played in the financial decline of America. These people are politicians first and that is being clarified by John McCain. He cares nothing about women's issues. Remember the infamous remark he made about his own wife, Cindy McCain? The one where he said she could be in a biker's beauty contest & be the first lady in the white house to have done so. Later, it was revealed that it is a topless contest. No retraction of his statement was ever made. But he is concerned that Sarah Palin is the victim of sexism. Yeah, right!
Americans who vote on the basis of color are fucking ignorant! I am african-american & female with a lot of issues that I want addressed. Equal pay for women, assistance for the poor, etc... These social problems have always been a democratic cause. My grandmother begged me to always vote as a democrat because they can affect change for blacks. This is the real reason why most blacks vote democratic. Quite frankly, I find it incredibly racist of those who claim blacks are simply voting for him because he is black. Blacks voted for Bill Clinton because they felt he would address their needs. John McCain didn't even think enough of blacks to recognize Martin Luther King's birthday as a national holiday. No matter what he says now. What is he doing to court the black vote? Nada! Blacks know that John McCain is not looking out for the whole country. Only his elite friends on Wall Street who he really did not want to regulate.

Watch the Roland Martin Show For Real Information On Issues
With so much of the same types of biased coverage,it's refreshing to have Roland Martin on CNN. I am a person who could give a fuck about partisan views. There are barely any real news shows on television. If I want objectivity, I have to watch the local news. When I want republican insight I watch the Fox channel. For a more liberal view, I can depend on MSNBC. Cnn tries to interject the independent, republican, & democratic perspective on the issues.
A gem like Roland Martin would never be found on Fox. The black democrat, Juan Williams, is their fair & balanced voice. It is questionable how objective he really is. And what's really funny about Fox news is their motto. "We Report. You decide." I thought their motto was "We decide. You must agree." Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Neil Cavuto
