We All Know Who Bill Clinton Supports

I'm not disappointed by Bill Clinton's lackluster endorsement of Senator Barack Obama. He never was the "first black president" to me. I cannot count one thing that he did to help the poor. And wasn't he presiding over white house affairs(business affairs not personal)during the Rwandan genocide? What exactly has he done to earn such a moniker? This article expresses in great detail what he hasn't done for african-americans; http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1571/is_n40_v14/ai_21278590.
What sickens me is how strained he looks whenever he's asked a question about the leader of the democratic party. His full support should be behind Barack Obama simply because he represents his party. Even if he does not like him, he should be able to disregard his personal feelings. Bill Clinton certainly shouldn't appear to be endorsing Senator John McCain at the same time. It seemed a little strange to me when John McCain spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative in person. Barack Obama is the head of the democratic party. It seems quite odd that he wasn't there but his opponent was. But then I said,"Nah"! Bill Clinton wants bipartisan support for his program. That's why John McCain was there.

Lo& Behold, I was right! Mr. Clinton has been singing the praises of both John McCain & Sarah Palin! Now since he's such a freak, I just assumed he wanted to bang Ms. Palin. That's why he was gushing about how real she was. But then he went on to sound like a McCain supporter the more he spoke. I think we all know where he really stands on this issue. He's no Obama backer, that's blatantly obvious! That's what makes this video so funny. But even without Bill Clinton backing him, I believe Obama will win. John McCain is hurting his own campaign with his erratic antics. He's helping to boost Barack Obama's appeal. So thanks Bill Clinton for helping the real " first black president" get elected. You've done as much for him as you have for all black people.

South Carolina Mayor Ponders Whether Obama is the Anti-christ! What a Far Right Nut!

A South Carolina mayor named Danny Funderburk has been circulating an email that poses a ridiculous question. The email that was forwarded by him asked if anyone thought that Barack Obama was the antichrist. Remember, in my last posting I told you that John McCain has the South Carolina Attorney General in his truth squad. It seems as if there is a republican network of dishonesty that gets employed in every election. This article also brings up the fact that the far far right Glen Beck posed the same question to his viewers. Here's the link:http://thinkprogress.org/2008/09/28/obama-antichrist-nc/. This is casting religious aspersions & apocalyptic fears into a presidential election. It's obvious that there is no real dirt on Barack Obama. Folks like Glen Beck & Danny Funderburk have to resort to evoking people's religious fears of the apocalypse. I guess the possibility of a black man running the country seems like the end of the world to some. But how did these mentally unstable people get into positions of power in the first place? I'm baffled!

Matt Blunt Is Accused of Lying! Of Course He Hates Truth Squads

Governor Matt Blunt is opposed to the Obama "truth squad". In his state of Missouri, there are some prosecutors & law enforcement who have formed this "truth squad". Apparently, McCain has formed one that involves South Carolina's Attorney General. The goal of both camps is to deter false & misleading campaign ads from airing to the public. Gov. Matt Blunt is supposedly concerned about the prosecutorial tone that the Obama truth squad has taken. Oh, did I mention that he's a republican with accusations of untruth swirling around him? According to various news reports,he was alleged to have destroyed public records that may have incriminated him. Here's the link to a website that appears to be an online petition to stop him from destroying documents: http://www.bluntdocumentdestroyer.com/. Now he's worried about the rights of those who concoct lies & call it an ad. Given the circumstances of the demise of his political career, I question his motives. As a disgraced & dishonest politician, maybe he just wants to defend the right to deceive. It appears that's what he has done in Missouri.

This Is The Reason I Created This Blog!!

I decided to go even further into the conservative stratosphere. I didn't watch the Fox channel for my daily insight into the "far right".Instead,I went to a conservative blog & look what I found on this site! At http://www.moonbattery.com/ there was this picture of Barack Obama that I find to be highly offensive! These are the fear tactics that Americans are sick of under the Bush regime. We will not tolerate 4 more years of code red, yellow, or orange! Remember that? There were constant terrorist alerts to keep us aware that we live in constant danger since 9/11. Only a republican president can protect us, right? Like Barack Obama said,"ENOUGH"! We're getting off the BUSH/MCCAIN TRAIN on November 4!! What are your opinions on this racist propaganda being promoted on that blog? Leave a comment.

Why Is Our Society So Enthralled With Violence?

http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-national/20080928/Florida.Wiseguys/ Here is an interesting article on John "Junior" Gotti. It gives a brief history of organized crime in Florida. With all the violence erupting in the streets of Oakland, I thought about a serious issue in the black community. The life of a "thug" is what some young black males want to aspire to. Certain rappers, moguls & record labels have been dragged through the mud for promoting that image. Yet, what was the point of giving Victoria Gotti her own reality show? It was to profit off of her relation to the deceased celebrity mob boss John Gotti. There couldn't be any other reason than that.

Our society glorifies violence in the media & on film. It's hard to be a rapper without having a life of crime & narrow escapes from death on your resume. Criminal life lends credibility to the individual that tells the grim tales of the ghetto. You can no longer be an outsider looking in & giving the details of what you have seen. You must have actually lived the details for people to "feel" you. In other words, you ain't real unless you've gang banged, sold drugs,or committed some kind of criminal act. A street soldier with the battle scars to show for it will become a major star in the world of rap. Look at Rick Ross. He got famous for his song "Hustlin" which was about being a major cocaine dealer in Miami. Then it was revealed that he was a former corrections officer. Now, people are wondering about the longevity of his career. Why? Because he may have been lying about just how "street" he is.

In this HBO documentary, it takes a look at the history of violence in America. For those who blame hip-hop for creating violent youths, take a look. Human beings are animals that are violent by nature. Many aggravating factors, such as the environment, can encourage violence. It is not a black or white thing. We all have the propensity to become violent. It angers me that this societal problem gets attributed to race. I am perplexed when I watch discussions on the violence in hip hop. This country was violently taken from American Indians. Africans endured horrific violence during the middle passage. Hip Hop is just a commentary on violence not the root or cause of it. Most wanna-be thugs emulate mafia bosses & their lifestyles. But you don't see me blaming the italian mob for the violence in the black community. So let's not blame hip-hop for violence in America. The same folks who love gangster rap feel the same about "The Godfather". And mostly every rapper adores the Gotti name. Lil' Kim even provided the theme for "Gotti's Boys". That's how intertwined rap & the mafia is.

Sarah Palin Is A Saturday Night Live Skit! Tina Fey Didn't Really Need To Write A Thing!

This year's election has been like a skit from a comedy show. You know it's a joke when skits can be contrived just from the candidate's own words. Well folks, the joke is on America if we elect the McCain/Palin ticket! We're laughing now because it's not our reality. If I have anything to do with it, Obama/Biden will be. I've caught a cold so that's it for today!

His Ploy To Trip Obama Up Backfired! Barack Obama Won Hands Down!!

This video exposes his hypocrisy by using his own words. The corporate media will not be "keeping them honest". And we all know the coverage of this election has not been "fair and balanced". Reporters are supposed to be impartial & neutral when they give the public information. Since that has not been the case, you have to use every source to gather the facts. You decide if it's credible or not. But watch this video because it's not propoganda. It's John McCain contradicting himself & being clueless.

I do not believe that Barack Obama should have been any more aggresive than he was last night. Critics said that he was too emotionally cool. What would have happened if he would have came across as angry like John McCain did? The general consensus would be that he was too risky. There are already a lot of white voters who claim they don't feel comfortable voting for a black man. Barack Obama displaying any level of rage would have been to his detriment. Remember, the black man has historically been portrayed as the "brute". His calm demeanor is exactly what is required to help him win & betray that stereotype of black men.

John McCain's suspended campaign was an attempt to throw Barack off his game. McCain knew that Obama was prepping for his debate & he wanted to limit those preparations. Another reason for this ploy was to have a reason why he didn't win the debate. McCain wanted to have the monopoly on the outcome. Some of the political pundits said that McCain was preoccupied with the bailout during the debate. As if that's why he didn't win the argument on foreign policy, which is supposedly his area of expertise. Remember that he said everyone should physically be at the negotiations until the bailout deal was done.

According to this article,(http://www.politico.com/blogs/thecrypt/0908/McCain_will_stay_away_from_Hill_today.html?showall),John McCain now feels he can do it all by phone. What happened here? Oh, the debate is over so he no longer needs to create a distraction! Some people feel like his move to suspend his campaign was for a mulitude of reasons. All of them were strictly political & extremely divisive in a time of serious negotiations over the bailout. He claims to be bipartisan but he demonstrates strong partisanship. His pick of Sarah Palin goes against his claim of the need for experience or intelligence for that matter. I mean, did you see her interview with Katie Couric? She shouldn't be in this race at all & John McCain is well aware of that. This man puts "McCain First" instead of "Country First". Anyone that votes for this asshole over Obama better do some serious self reflection!!!

I'm Riveted to the T.V. Sizzling HOT Presidential Debate!!!!

Barack Obama definitely is on fire in this debate. There is more life in this argument & he is not as passive. John McCain is managing to control his anger & interject more refutes than Obama. This time I think that Obama will make sense to those who don't engage in such eloquent speech. During this awful time in America, simple talk is all folks are looking for. John McCain is known for talking in terms that every american can understand. Barack Obama has listened to some of the criticisms about his long-winded answers. He's being more direct & to the point than the prior debates. I'm going back to the television now. This is like the fuckin' superbowl for me. Should I enter into politics? I just may have discovered my true passion in life. This is exhilarating!!!!

Shame On Beenie Man If This Is True!

In case you didn't know, Beenie Man is a world renowned dancehall artist. I loved him in "Dancehall Queen", one of my favorite foreign movies. His talent is undeniable & a whole lot of his tunes are classics. I thought he was a conscious brother but I may have been deceived.I know Beenie Man has had tax troubles& went through a highly publicized divorce from D'Angel. But he has not paid child support in 5 yrs. according to one of the mother of his children. I do not claim to know the validity of the accusation. All I know is that this video was a great way to make an outcry against deadbeat dads.

This Ad Looks Like America! All Races Are Represented Here!

What does "country first" really mean to John McCain? I think it is code language for "vote for me because I'm white & Obama is black." The only black I've ever seen him with was Barack Obama when they decided to be bipartisan on 9/11! I never see him engaging with blacks at all.I guess we don't count because everyone assumes that all blacks contemplate matters with one big singular mind. Each one of us does not have an individual brain that allows us to process information independently. According to various polls, which we all know can be totally inaccurate, the majority of blacks are voting for Obama just because he's one of us. How incompetent are these pollsters & journalists? Do some damn real research before you make baseless statements!

John McCain has done nothing for the blacks in his own state. Here is the link to that story(http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0408/9429.html). Blacks of Arizona have had no relationship with him at all during his entire time as the senator of Arizona. He has turned down numerous offers from the NAACP to discuss issues with them. Of course, it's easy to profess that most blacks will practice reverse racism by voting for Barack Obama. African-Americans have had no problem voting for whites before. That's all this country has ever offered as choices for them. Those polls & reports on blacks voting for Obama is an attempt at dividing the masses. Since whites outnumber blacks, this is a subliminal call for whites to do the same.

Presidential candidates need to prove that they can relate to you. There have been very few presidents that blacks felt had their interests at heart. Why in the hell would I vote for John McCain? He does not seem to even like black people. No consideration for the black vote has been shown. The republican stance is that he shouldn't pander to us because we're not voting for him anyway. There is not this strong sense of black unity that the whole race feels. If blacks were so unified, why are there so many problems in the black community? Every black person is definitely not supporting Barack Obama. Every white person is not supporting John McCain. People are supporting the candidate who appeals to their sensibilities. You know, the one that they would want to kick back & share a beer with!

This Is One More Reason Why Most Blacks Don't Vote Republican!

Wow! I don't think anything that Fernando C. de Baca was taken out of context. I have experienced racism from a mexican co-worker that I had. She was trying to get a promotion & feared that others would get it instead of her. For this reason, she tried to sabotage everyone that may get in her way. That is not an uncommon scenario albeit it's not the way I operate. This job was just a source of income for me so I did not even put my bid in for a promotion. But I still did not escape her wrath.

What threw me for a loop is that she injected racism into the workday as often as she could. It's not the first time that a mexican has made their dislike for me known. I just had no idea that some hispanics have such disdain for blacks. Mr.Baca claims that the racial dissent stems from the civil rights movement. Supposedly, blacks gained greatly from all the benefits that were bestowed upon them because of that event. This is the same claim that whites who are racist make about affirmative action. We have been the victims of great oppression since the birth of this great nation. Blacks have suffered lynchings, burnings,& death throughout the twentieth century. Even though we were instrumental in the composition of this great nation. As Richard Allen,a black leader, states "blacks were the first to till the soil."

How outrageous that this man would claim that blacks came here as slaves& mexicans as conquerors. Like mexicans & puerto ricans, blacks are a collage of races. The spanish conquistadors came & conquered the indians. The anglo-saxons came & conquered the indians as well. Mexicans are not from spain. I believe that they are a hybrid race just like many americans today. Black simply means the color. It does not define a race of people with a distorted & contorted history. A lot of blacks have African, Native American, & European ancestry. Watch Henry Louis Gates on PBS. His documentaries delve deep into the mystery of african-american ancestry. Racial intolerance should be a thing of the past. America really is a melting pot. Many Americans are of mixed race like Barack Obama. A large number of people have multiracial backgrounds. Any hispanic that doesn't like blacks should first learn how to define what black is!

Barack Obama Has Evoked the Passion That is True Hip Hop

What kind of game are these republicans playing? Fuck the partisan political bullshit that seems to be in full effect during these "negotiations". If the world economy is at stake, what the hell are you guys going back & forth about? Hash it out because it seems like another ploy to sway the election one way or another. Congressional leaders are working for their constituents, right? Then why are democrats & republicans blaming each other for the hold-up? Well, they want to make sure that one of the parties gets the credit for saving the economy.

Meanwhile, the American people must depend on the wealthy segment of society to bailout the filthy rich. I do not believe that anyone in congress is living paycheck to paycheck. Many of them own several house & cars. How can they truly sympathize with those who are on the verge of poverty? They have aligned themselves with too many corporate interests & the people lobbying for these corporations. And we're supposed to put our trust in Henry Paulson & his cronies to finally save the day. I am not sure if there is an honest politician left. Barack Obama hasn't been in Washington long enough to be completely muddied by dirty politics. He is a refreshing change that America so desperately needs.

The hip hop community has shown great support & interest in Barack Obama. Finally, we see someone in politics that speaks to our inner being. That's why so many rappers like Young Jeezy, Jay Z, & Kanye West support Barack Obama. They speak on the struggles of living in a war zone on a daily basis. No, I'm not talking about Iraq or Afghanistan. These war zones are described as "ghettos". Neighborhoods that look like the aftermath of war. Dilapidated houses & parks with drug paraphenilia scattered all over the ground. Black men fighting & killing each other in the on-going battle for street turf. Do you think that this is the quality of life that they seek? No, but it's the only success that they think they're capable of achieving. Barack Obama is an inspiration to black men & women stuck in poverty.BIG UP TO JAY Z FOR HIS PASSIONATE CALL FOR CHANGE TO A MASSIVE AUDIENCE! And I'm out!

Steve Doocy Is A Douche! Watch the Unfair & Unbalanced In Action!

C'mon guys, you're killing me over at the Fox channel. Steve Doocy is a goofy walkie-talkie for the Mccain campaign. His role at Fox should remain " weatherman". He is not well-versed on any subject at all. Why he is interviewing people is beyond me. He truly is a village idiot! My father is a liberal reporter who works for a radio station in Berkeley. He is a very opinionated individual who has been accused of being biased. But the entire radio station is not. You have differing views being prominently featured by the programmers of the shows. Apparently, Fox has a different view of what "fair & balanced" is.

In this video, you can see for yourself what happens when you give a democratic perspective on current issues. Your mike is cut off or they constantly interrupt you. I understand why Barack Obama gave Bill O'Reilly an exclusive interview during the republican convention. He wanted to deflect from John McCain's big speech. Kudos to him for making a play because this election is a game. This makes the old adage "life is a chess game" seem perfectly true. Witness John McCain's next bold "move" which was the subject of this one-sided debate, the suspension of his campaign.

Anyone with a brain can see that John McCain is not putting "country first". Neither is George Bush. Look how long he took to come out & talk to the country about the economic strife we are facing. When George Bush finally did, it was without any accountability on the major role he has played in the financial decline of America. These people are politicians first and that is being clarified by John McCain. He cares nothing about women's issues. Remember the infamous remark he made about his own wife, Cindy McCain? The one where he said she could be in a biker's beauty contest & be the first lady in the white house to have done so. Later, it was revealed that it is a topless contest. No retraction of his statement was ever made. But he is concerned that Sarah Palin is the victim of sexism. Yeah, right!

Americans who vote on the basis of color are fucking ignorant! I am african-american & female with a lot of issues that I want addressed. Equal pay for women, assistance for the poor, etc... These social problems have always been a democratic cause. My grandmother begged me to always vote as a democrat because they can affect change for blacks. This is the real reason why most blacks vote democratic. Quite frankly, I find it incredibly racist of those who claim blacks are simply voting for him because he is black. Blacks voted for Bill Clinton because they felt he would address their needs. John McCain didn't even think enough of blacks to recognize Martin Luther King's birthday as a national holiday. No matter what he says now. What is he doing to court the black vote? Nada! Blacks know that John McCain is not looking out for the whole country. Only his elite friends on Wall Street who he really did not want to regulate.

The Consumate Politician Is John Mccain! Now He Cares About the Economy!

John McCain is significantly down in the national polls. Suddenly, the economy is a huge issue to him. Although he has maintained that the economy is not his forte, we are now supposed to believe he can rectify the situation. Congress cannot do it without the "maverick" & his opponent, Barack Obama , being present. Huh?!! I do not believe that John McCain is sincere about anything. I am a newly minted political junkie but even I can see that. This is a crafty move on his part which just proves how much of a reformer he is not!

Barack Obama is not trying to take the bait though. He is able to multi-task which is an important part of any job description. This debate is important to the American people because we have not heard enough from either one of them. The University Of Mississippi debates must proceed so that voters can deliberate. Voters are the ultimate jurors. We need as much evidence as possible to help us decide. The discussion the American people have had about Sarah Palin must cease. She is a huge factor but not the most important one. The differing resolutions to today's major issues need to be disputed by the candidates. Like most folks out here, I believe he is pulling a stunt. John McCain is an issue himself. He is an "elitist" because he thinks the Americans are stupid. If he wins the presidencey, he will be proven right.

Who Do I Take Issue With Today? Neil Cavuto, of course!

If you don't care about racism in the media, then pay no mind. Remember, I am black so I will take issue with his innuendo. Don't be so coy about it. We know what you meant. This video says it all.

How Blacks Are Viewed In Society Is Still An Issue

Why is the color of your skin still an issue? My guess is that because our views are shaped by our parents. Racism has been passed down from generation to generation. That's why the societal views on this dilemna have not really evolved. As recent polls suggest, Barack Obama may be hurt by people's prejudices. According to this survey, about 30% of whites have made the following analysis of blacks. African-Americans are lazy, ignorant, & responsible for their own personal deficits. For all the folks that say blacks play the race card, I have a question for you. Can you honestly claim that blacks are treated the same as whites?

If your answer is yes, then take a look at this video. There is a nasty truth in the fashion & beauty industry about blacks. There really aren't any black models. Skin color is still an issue as well. I mean look at the comments some blacks have made about Obama's biracial makeup. They feel his ascension in politics was allowed because of his fair complexion. Why do a number of blacks deem this to be true? The reason ,I believe, is that blacks are sparse in the media, film, television,& in the fashion industry. Simply put, we are not beautiful in the eye of the general society.
In this video, that reality is driven home. The purpose of it is to bring public awareness to the fact that there are hardly any black models. There is no shortage of beautiful young black girls who qualify. The problem is that what is promoted in the media as beautiful. Most of the blacks who have made it to the pinnacle of success have light skin. The first african-american to win an oscar for "Best Actress" was Halle Berry. That frustrated many black actresses to no end because she is bi-racial. They felt they were passed over for looking too black. Since we know how blacks are still viewed in society, I wouldn't doubt it!

Watch the Roland Martin Show For Real Information On Issues

With so much of the same types of biased coverage,it's refreshing to have Roland Martin on CNN. I am a person who could give a fuck about partisan views. There are barely any real news shows on television. If I want objectivity, I have to watch the local news. When I want republican insight I watch the Fox channel. For a more liberal view, I can depend on MSNBC. Cnn tries to interject the independent, republican, & democratic perspective on the issues.

A gem like Roland Martin would never be found on Fox. The black democrat, Juan Williams, is their fair & balanced voice. It is questionable how objective he really is. And what's really funny about Fox news is their motto. "We Report. You decide." I thought their motto was "We decide. You must agree." Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Neil Cavuto

$700 BILLION DOLLAR BAILOUT! They Better Include The Homeowners!

So, we Americans have reached a conclusion on a bailout. $700 Billion smackaroos over the next couple of years will be used to buy bad assets that stemmed from the mortgage crisis. There are no specifics on exactly what companies will receive a life jacket to keep from drowning in a ocean of debt. Well, how about us average joes out here pinching pennies to survive? The average hard-working tax-payer who got hit with rising gas prices. You know, the one who is facing foreclosure & job loss. Will we actually benefit from this decision? According to the democrats, we should.

Democrats want to find a way to keep homeowners in their homes. With an economy that's going through a severe downturn, I think it's what is needed. Some folks will benefit from this when they should not have. But these big companies like AIG did not want government regulations. They are benefiting from the bailout & their executives too. Even though they were greedy & made poor decisions. We need to do it to save the economy although I think we are just delaying matters. So if we can bailout greedy corporations, then we should be able to help out the middle class. And lastly, I would like to pose a question. Do you feel like the country is on the verge of becoming socialist? Leave a comment.

Michael Warns Is Just Trying To Sell A Book!

What have you done for black people, Michael Warns? Except create division within your own race. We already have too many black sects, gangs, etc... in our community. Why do you hate Oprah Winfrey? She has actually been to Africa & has helped the poor. All you are doing is spewing the type of bullshit that the KKK does. So, who are you, really? A bigot who is using a black man's success to get your name out there. The only black person you want to support, sir, is yourself! I hope only the empty-minded people who buy into your senseless rhetoric buy your book.

That is the sole purpose of these disruptions & diversions that Michael Warns has been orchestrating. I cannot believe that he has more than the 10 followers who were protesting at the University of Miami. He sounds like the village idiot on his videos. The "points" he makes to convince us of the validity of his rants are not based on anything but bigotry. On his website, he claims that 33% of black women are really "Lilith". And that Oprah Winfrey is the devil. That says it all!

Travis Barker & DJ AM Are Hurt !

I was shocked to hear that my favorite rock drummer, Travis Barker, was critically injured in a plane crash. I used to watch his reality show on MTV. And I had a Blink 182 t-shirt. I really hope that he fully recovers. DJ AM was also badly hurt in the plane crash. In case you didn't know, he is the ex of Nicole Richie. The cause of the crash has not been discovered yet. I hope he gets better! I found this great video of Warren G, Travis Barker, & DJ AM performing live. The song is Warren G's 90's hit " Regulators". Music brings us all together. I wish I would have been there.

Is This Where We Are Headed?!!! Depression Is A Synonym Of Recession!

They might as well call this a depression. Why give it the alternative name of recession? They both mean the same damn thing! The way my life has been going I might be in the same situation as the lady in the picture. In fact, many people will. The financial crisis is a very real one for me. Currently, I am in dire need of money. Luckily, I had the good fortune to avoid being stuck in a sub-prime mortgage that I could not pay off. In 2003, my sister & I sold the property we inherited from my grandmother. But before we did, we were the victims of such a loan.

We did not qualify but there was a reason why we sought a loan. There was structural damage that needed to be repaired before we could sell it. Well, we made a huge mistake by using a lady who was quite cunning to help us in this process. But first let me give you the backstory. You see, my grandmother died in 1998. After her passing, my sister & I learned that we had this inheritance. But to complicate matters, we were in probate & the executor was beyond non-compliant on everything. She was my grandmother's friend but not ours. Her only interest was the money that she would get for taking on this role. The executor wanted us to hurry & sell. She was combative & evasive whenever we asked her for money from the trust. Even though she was the guardian of the money. This went on from 1998-2002. We were in probate for almost five years!

While all this was going on we were trying to get through the grief that we felt. We had neighbors who had known us since we were children turning on us. They were fearful that we were too young to handle the property. It was a large house that we had no money to keep up. That is how we got caught up in a terrible loan with a balloon payment after 2 yrs. Thank God we were able to get through that long drawn out probate & sell it. Look what happened just five years later. In 2008, people are being foreclosed on & they are having difficulty unloading their property. Sometimes people get taken advantage of in times of grief. That is what happened to my sister & I. We had noone on our side except God.

I listen to a lot of commentators on various cable t.v. shows. Whenever they comment on the bailout, we always hear about the people who got these loans for selfish reasons. Maybe we should not have gotten a loan that we did not qualify for but we bailed ourselves out of it. No government help at all. Why are we only talking about the recipients of these sub-prime mortgages? What about the persistent lenders who prey on those who really need help? The people who provided us the loan knew our situation. They were predatory lenders who were hoping we would default on it. We almost did. These people were the ones who were greedy.

In the end, the house sold for $100,000 less than it should have. The woman who arranged the loan offered to do everyhing for us since we were obviously grieving. Her brother was a contractor who could offer us a deal on the repairs. His "deal" was to start working on the house for a cheaper rate. We needed a new foundation & roof due to earthquake damage. All he did was jack up the price & avoid all of our calls until we agreed on his new price. The windows were still out when we got rid of it. And his sister made a hefty commission from her loan referral (that was through a lender she knew)& she disappeared. We made a lot of decisions that we would not have under normal circumstances.

Before people make judgments, they should understand there are a lot of victims out there. We were incredibly young greiving heirs to my grandmother's fortune. We did not go out and buy a house we knew we could not afford. The loan was taken out for repairs & got spent on the ridiculous $2,300 monthly mortgage payments. In addition to that, we had to move out of the house & rent an apartment for $1600 a month. About a month after my grandmother died, we discovered that there were rats. They were getting in because the foundation was basically gone. IT WAS A HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE! I've learned a invaluable lesson from that experience. And now that's my depressing mortgage loan story. What's yours? Leave me a comment & let me know where you think the country's headed. Are we in a depression now?

The Meaning Behind Josh Howard's Statements

As a child who was ordered to sit down during the pledge of allegiance to the flag, I understand Josh Howard's comments. It has to do with the residual anger that comes from having enslaved ancestors. Do people live in the twilight zone or what? You know what I think it is? I think that americans are in a state of denial when it comes to reality. We know why he does not care for the national anthem as black people. It has nothing to do with being unpatriotic either. It is the mistreatment of blacks that has persisted to this day. But it makes no sense to make belligerent outbursts like that.

African-Americans helped build this country along with everyone else. It hurts to have no claim to any land even if you descend from the founding nationalities. The Indians who were on this land when it was pioneered. The Europeans who settled it. The Africans who slaved over the cotton & tobacco fields of America. I am an african-american with pictures of three generations of my maternal grandmothers in it. They all were Chickasaw. Do I receive any compensation as the descendant of an american indian tribe? No! They make it too difficult for you to do so. There is so much bureaucracy involved that I have decided not to bother. I know very little about my family history which used to anger me. But from what I can discern in family pictures there is european in my bloodstream as well. I don't know the story behind that but it's there. Of course, I have no idea which part of West Africa my ancestors originated from. It is a mystery that I am trying to undertake. First, I have to go to Mississippi to do that & get to know my relatives.

Sadly, all the africans I have met are distant & seem to want no part of me. I have dated quite a few men from Nigeria & other parts of Africa. There is disdain & disgust in their conversations with me about blacks in America. One guy told me that we are ,for the most part, underachievers. I felt like he thought I was lower than him because I am black & not african. It was disappointing & it made me angry. I wanted to rediscover my african roots. What is my true culture? As an african-american, our culture had to be recreated. Although I look african, I am not accepted by them because I have no tribal connections. Where do I go when I go to the land of my ancestry? I don't know my ancestry which has hindered me in school projects & in life period. Why is it so hard for me to build my family tree? It's because America was not the land of the free. It was the land of the defeated. The home of the slave.

The national anthem does not have the lyrics that every american can identify with. Specifically "the land of the free" because of the history of slavery. Those words are still like a slap in the face. Remember, we were likened to cattle. Blacks were possessions in the minds of many americans. Heathens who needed to be enslaved. Blacks weren't the "we" hailed at the twilight's last gleaming". That song was made by & for white countrymen. There was a lot of literature out there saying that we were less than human. It is painful for african-americans to this very day.

That is the reason Josh Howard said "Fuck that, I ain't singin' that". He feels like blacks can reject a song that was never intended for them anyway. Maybe he's feeling a little cocky because we finally have a black presidential candidate. Who knows? The point is blacks were not free so who is this patriotic song directed to? Not all americans because blacks didn't count, remember? This kind of attitude hearkens back to the not so distant civil rights movement & black power era. It's hard to call someone un-patriotic when you know the history of America. Josh Howard does not seem like he has much black pride though. He seemed like he was just trying to be provocative & illicit anger. I do not think he is trying to be the next civil rights leader. But I like that he supports Barack Obama.

Rednecks?!! Isn't that A Racist Term?

I have no more words! We know what term she uses to describe blacks. Watch!!

Read This : How To Rig An Election by Allen Raymond

If you believe that I'm just crying racism because Barack Obama is black, think again. Paranoia has nothing to do with it. For blacks racism is a reality. Just look at today's news & if that's not convincing enough read this book. I am not trying to promote it. This guy is a despicable character with deep insight into the mechanisms of the republican party. He used to work for them. His job was to dissuade black voters from casting their vote. This book spells out the racism that still exists. Your civil rights as a black person are always in jeopardy. It just supports what many of us already know. In this election, republicans are try to employ a strategy that will exclude voters whose homes have been foreclosed in Michigan.
I'm also reading a book called " Bad News" by Tom Fenton. It's a introspective look at the load of bad information that is fed to the american public under the guise of "news". A look at how the media deliberately stayed away from stories that would upset the Bush administration. It covers how the media could have helped make the public aware of the terrorist threat before 9/11. In synopsis, this book exposes the fact that ratings are really all that matter. And what sells, folks?! Altogether now, SEX, DRUGS, VIOLENCE, & ROCK!

Lynn de Rothschild Is Not Supporting Barack Obama? He 's too Elite for an Elitist such as her!

The Los Angeles Times did an article on the hypocrisy of this woman's rationale about her support of John Mccain. Basically they discussed her immense wealth & how elite her family is. She really is not talking about Barack Obama's snobbiness. Let's be clear on just how far up the echelon she is in society. She is mired in finance & power. It is apparent that Barack Obama's change message is identical to Hilary Clinton. So what's her real beef with Obama? Could it be that he is black?
The L.A Times alluded to that. At the end of their article they posed a rhetorical question? Instead of "elite", Lynn Rothschild probably meant "uppity". And we all know that word is used to refer to negroes who don't stay in the place that society has carved out for them. Whenever we move up the echelons of society, there are roadblocks that people try to put in place. Lynn Rothschild is so transparent in her attempt to put up a roadblock. Because she is a hypocrite an a elitist, it is obvious what she is trying to do. She is not a real democrat. She is going from Clinton to Mccain. People with two different philosophies about governing.
People we can pretend that racism is a minor problem. As an african-american female I know that is still a prevalent issue. The key to surviving amongst racism is to ignore it. It has worked for me in work situations. Barack Obama is turning a blind eye to racism which is the only way he will get elected. The truth hurts & people simply do not care to hear it. So I won't waste another word on this transparent hypocrite!

Check Out " Traces of the Trade" For Accurate American History!

Traces of the Trade » Home
I had to post this follow-up to the entry regarding reparations. Silas Muhammed has some validity in his diatribe against Barack Obama. He discussed reparations & his disdain for Obama because he does not support it. Many may wonder why that is still an issue. I think I found a great documentary that reveals the answer. The producer/director of this film is Katrina Browne. This is the story of her white forefather's extensive connection to slavery. It is called "Traces of the Trade" & just follow the link to the website.

This film traces the DeWolf family's history as the largest slave-trading family in U.S history. Myths about slavery are dispelled when it is revealed that Katrina Browne's ancestors were Northerners. I believe in doing research to back up what I am saying. In my next posting, companies with a history in the slave trade (JP Morgan) will be listed. The descendants of those in the business of owning & trading slaves have benefited greatly. U.S history & economy lessons never discuss the existing corporations that were part of this brutal history. You will only learn the real story through viewing documentaries such as this.

How can black americans reconcile themselves to the fact that the effects from slavery on whites is far different than blacks? Slavery has played a role in the financial status of many white families of America. The ones from " old money" are sometimes from " slave or blood, sweat,& tear money. These families are no different than the children of murderous mafia dons or drug lords. Your money is blood money. It was acquired under the most inhumane conditions that one could imagine. Please watch this film no matter what color you are. It explains the dissent between blacks & whites that persist until this day. America cannot restore the traditions, cultures, community, or anything else that was lost in slavery. But in order to move on, you must know your past. There is a lost sense of pride in knowing your ancestry when you are an african-american. It is similar to those who have been adopted & are desperately seeking their real identity. Except all the records concerning your family have disintegrated into the dust long ago. That feeling of total loss & being incomplete as a person is present in many descendants of slaves. Meditate on that & check out this film.

Did She Kill Caylee? Leave A Comment! I Think So!

Have you ever known a habitual liar? Casey Anderson is exactly that! It is obvious to me that she is heavily involved in her daughter's disappearance. She lies blatantly to the police while talking calmly. This woman is void of all feeling because she knows what happened to her child. It's an outrage which has sparked protests outside of the home of Casey's mother. Because somehow, she keeps getting re-arrested then posting bail! Strange.

What is really going on here? I just don't understand why she's not on trial for murder by now. They do not need the body unless they have no evidence. Those police tapes must not be enough. For Caylee's sake, I hope that her mother had nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, there is the issue of maternal love & connection. Remember the woman who microwaved her child. Look at the amount of heat related deaths from children being left in vehicles. There is a disconnect that may stem from postpartum depression that festered into something more sinister. It has already been said that Casey did not want a child when she got pregnant with Caylee.

Who knows why this woman is misleading the authorities & not helping them find her child? What I do know is that she is guilty of something. I hope they get her like they did Scott Peterson. They are both sociopaths who only use people to boost their emotions. This woman felt like the baby brought her down so she resumed her old life. Most mothers give up the nightlife in order to stay home with their child. Especially if their child was missing. It is reasonable to deduce that she knows where Caylee Anderson is. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone because this is unreal. She should be in jail & not constantly out on bail.

How Black Muslims Really Feel About Barack Obama For President! Silas Muhammed Speaks!

So Obama's a Muslim, huh? If so he certainly is not a black muslim. They obviously are not a part of the african-americans who support him. According to the media reports, there is speculation that he is a muslim. Reverend Wright was a huge detraction which almost cost him the democratic nomination. Sean Hannity questioned his patriotism because of this.

Louis Farrakhan has been linked to Barack Obama in this desperate attempt to brand him as a threat to American ideals. Let me ask those who believe that to watch Silas Muhammed speak. In this video, he reveals a sentiment that is shared amongst those who have the same mindset. Those black people who want reparations & accountability for the still lingering effects of slavery do not support Barack Obama. He is not a descendant of slaves so therefore he cannot identify with most african-americans. This is how they truly feel. How come the different factions within the black community is never covered in the media? We have muslims, christians, black hebrews,etc... So, when you say that african -americans will overwhelmingly vote for Barack Obama who are you referring to? Obviously not all.

I am the descendant of slaves who does not seek reparations for past evil deeds. I want accountability & for those who profited from slavery to share the profits with the slave descendants. That's not going to truly repair the past but it would be an acknowledgement of wrongdoing. The american indians have been compensated for the genocide that occurred during the establishment of America. The mistreatment of african-americans was not deserved & needs to be rectified. Even in this day & age, we are viewed as less than. Why? Because of slavery.

Whether or not Barack Obama supports reparations is not going to make my support waiver. I remember Malcolm X's demise & I have serious doubt about the sincerity of black muslims. This is a political organization that has it's own motives. What was the point of the Million Man March? If you are going to tear a black man down in his greatest hour of need, you shouldn't have bothered! Barack Obama is the best choice for president & Silas Muhammed knows it! He is a politician who cannot afford to pander to just blacks. This is not a black or white country. It is a collage of races & he is a collage of cultures. He was born in Hawaii, schooled in Indonesia, & gained political experience in Chicago. This man is mulitcultural which is good for America. We need someone with an objective view. He's got it.

He is not a white man or black man. He is a composite of both. Just what this country needs. Someone with no racial baggage. Whites & blacks have that due to slavery. I do not think that he does not understand slavery. He is an educated man married to a woman who is probably a descendant of slaves. If Barack Obama is lily white as he is portrayed in this video, how does Michelle Obama fit in? She is the epitome of a strong black woman. So much so that she has been stereotyped as being militant! Is she a puppet on a string? Is she not black enough? Please, Silas Muhammed! Stop trying to prevent a positive image of a black man from emerging onto the international stage!

Economic Woes Hit All Americans! This Woman Looks Like She Is Feeling Serious Pain!

This picture captures the general mood & emotion of most Americans. If I didn't know better, I would think this was me. I have been hit hard with a job transfer which I have to decline. My gas expense would be about $15 per day because it's 62 miles round trip. Because of that, I will have to let this job go. We all know that the job market is crowded so I'm sure finding another job will be difficult. When I saw this photo, I had to post it here. Kudos to the photographer that illustrated the financial despair that most of us feel!

The issue of the day is the economy. Depending on how bad it gets, I may have to consider relocating to another country. That is why I blog about political matters so much. It is a meaningful subject to me because I know how much the country will change. The question is what will the change be? I am researching both candidates & I have made my choice clear. For those who do not like either choice, I hope you are exploring your options. Do not just skip voting. Find out why you do or do not like these people independently. Please do not let political pundits & commentators instruct you in your decision making. Most of them have not been hit hard by the economy like you & I.

Whether you like black people or not should not play a role here. Unfortunately, the republicans have made digs at Barack Obama (the community organizer)which may appeal to racists. Now, I am not saying that you are a racist if you do not vote for Barack Obama. Nor am I saying you are racist if you are white & won't vote for him. There are some black people who won't vote for him because he is black. Only you know if you were objective in your reasoning. Remember your vote will directly affect the future of this great country. Be fair & sensible. For more on the issue of racism towards blacks, check out the video bar on this page. Until my next post, have a great night!

This Woman Should Win An Emmy For This! Tina Fey as Sarah Palin!!!

I can't believe that my wildest comedic dreams have come to fruition. The issue of "sexism" that has been abused during this race is parodied on SNL. None other than Tina Fey is portraying Sarah Palin. Everybody has a twin & these two better check their geneaology records because damn! They could pass for identical twins & that accent is pegged down to the letter by Tina. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my Sunday by getting a little shopping done! I am a woman after all. OOPS! Am I being sexist by implying that women like shopping? No that's just as ridiculous as the claims made by John Mccain's campaign. And I'm off to contribute to my own decline into poverty. Maybe it'll help the economy. Let me go because as you can see, I am full of jokes today!

Republican Affiliates Peddle This!

News - Slideshow - Forum sells 'Obama Waffles' with racial stereotype I saw this over at Comcast news & just had to post it here. Racism is a huge issue for me as an african american. I am using my voice on this blog to speak out against all offences to humanity. Is this the reason why the republican convention was sparse in the amount of blacks that attended? In a party that totes the message of change now, how does this represent that? These are the kinds of people that support John Mccain. People who want to change from having a view of a unified & equal country be shared by all Americans. This type of stereotyping only hearkens back to the antebellum past of America. We want a party with a vision that holds a better future. Not one that is seeking to hold on to the distant past. My voice will be heard much louder than this. At this point, I have no readers. This blog is just my way of venting my frustrations as a black person in America. These are my opinions & views. If anyone is reading this, leave me a comment & let me know!Share the issues that affect you with me.

Isn't it sad though that racism is still an issue? All over the world, not just here in America? Those with darker skin suffer with this problem within their own race sometimes. There is inter-racial discrimination & exclusion in the black community. If you have light skin, it can make the difference in how you are treated. The same applies if you have dark skin. That is a fact of life that I have know since childhood. Within my own family, I have been told that at least my hair was wavy. As if to say that my hair was my saving grace. My skin is dark but the texture of my hair makes me attractive. Why do so many blacks feel this way? My theory & strong belief is that it comes from the days of slavery. A time that most blacks have tried to forget by disassociating themselves from Africa. By rejecting the culture & country, they are rejecting the pain of the past. Those horrific times are imprinted in our genetic memory. The atrocities of that time has lingered from generation to generation.

These types of images evoke Jim Crow & segregation. That was in the not so distant past. Apparently, it is still the desire of some in the white community for that still to be the case. Even if John Mccain does not have a racist bone in his body, how will he be able to reform that aspect of his party? He tried to speak out against the Confederate flag & was forced to reverse his stance on that. Yes, that flag is the symbol of slavery. The Black Holocaust. His party is made up of many Daughters & Sons of the Confederation. Hence, we have these racial stereotypes persistently coming from some republicans. I have not heard John Mccain denounce the organizations that perpetuate racism. He should but he is a republican after all. No matter how much he trys to distance himself.

Real Questions That Make John Mccain Squirm Like A Weasel! This Is "The View" Of Most Women!

This is some of the best journalism that I've seen yet. I got to see John Mccain get confronted with the truth. He seemed to lose his train of thought when Joy called his campaign ads lies. Well, John Mccain anyone with a brain can see that you are trying to run with Obama's message for political gain! Your surrogate, Sarah Palin, can't even match Charles Gibson's intellect. And sir, you were out of your element on this show today! They called a spade a spade & you're not used to that. I just hope that we do not elect another liar to run America into the ground for 4 more years.

Politics this time around is about change & reform depending on the candidate who is elected. I think if you watch this you can decide for yourself if this is a "reformed" republican candidate. Someone who is going to come in & reform government so that life will be better for everyone. Or is this candidate only saying whatever he thinks will get him the presidency.

Lying politicians have always been an issue & is the reason why a lot of people do not vote. Especially those who are indigenous & believe change will never happen for them. Only the rich & their cronies seem to benefit or so they think. Ever since George Bush has been in office, I have made it my duty to cast my vote. Politics envelopes so many issues that directly affect everyone's lives. We cannot afford to let others make decisions for us in our day to day lives. Your vote helps make known to the electorate what your decision is for the next president of the U.S.

Obviously, this election is an issue that dominates my thoughts daily. I have become an information junkie who is constantly seeking more. That is how I form my opinions of the candidates. I do not let Sean Hannity or Keith Olberman sway me one way or another. Research these candidates. Ask yourself how a "community organizer" is at the same time "an elitist". I would think that John Mccain is so elite that he doesn't even concern himself with the amount of houses he owns. I doubt that he's ever helped or even stepped one foot into the poor communites around America. John Mccain & the rest of the republicans he wants to "reform" have too much disdain for the community. So they scoff at those who want to help the community! It figures.

Funny Potrayal of Sarah Palin by Gina Gershon

See more Gina Gershon videos at Funny or Die
How about a good laugh since 9/11 has come to an end. I found this video which is a great parody of the republican nominee for VP. Yesterday was a day that the presidential candidates commemorated together. The whole country was dealing with their own issues associated with September 11. A lot of people were directly affected by that great tragedy. Let us never forget.

I have heard that Tina Fey resembles Sarah Palin & I agree. Gina Gershon is a much hotter version of Sarah Palin. Enjoy!

Piggy Politics

I found this over at www.firedoglake.com & I just had to post this in reference to my article about the coverage on this. This is hilarious. Just like the accusations that inspired it. This pig is actually cleaner than John Mccain's politics. That's all, folks!

STICK TO ISSUES LIKE THE ECONOMY!

Sexism has been used to shield Sarah Palin from the scrutiny that she so badly needs & deserves. It is true that racism, sexism, etc... are issues that exist in society period. The problem is that we are dealing with bigger issues such as the decline of the economy. This is not about making false claims about personal attacks on either of the candidates. "Community Organizer" was how Rudy Giulliani( who had issues with blacks during his time as mayor of New York City) summed up a sitting SENATOR'S career! I believe that was not only degrading Barack Obama because of his race, but
it is making an issue of class. I mean helping the poor is not a good qualifying factor when you're running for president. At least not in Rudy Giulliani's point of view. As witnessed by the current republican administration, helping the rich is of more importance.

All of these issues should not be a part of this race. America is struggling with much more pertinent issues. We better talk about global warming, energy solutions, economic despair, education,& all of the REAL ISSUES! People need to get the facts & not vote with emotion. My heart & mind tells me to vote for the candidate who can make life better for everyone. If you have a working brain, you know who that is. Barack Obama!

NO RESPECT FOR HASSELBECK! THIS REEKS OF RACISM!!

First, she broke down over the use of the word "nigger" & now we see why. This "woman" has only met Michelle Obama once & implies that she has something to hide.Well, I think Elizabeth Hasselbeck had something to hide which she has now exposed. That is why she was so upset because she has racist views that she is trying to supress. She was not crying because the word "nigger" is offensive to her. That word made her do some self-reflecting that she did not want to do.Let's ask Elizabeth Hasselbeck what Sarah Palin has to hide? She hasn't even gone on "The View" or answered any questions. Where's your outrage over that? Michelle Obama is the candidate's wife not the VP pick. Sarah Palin, not Michelle Obama, needs to answer all questions. You are a phony who needs to stick to fake reality TV. You are a smear agent for the Mccains. Despicable!!

Cindy Mccain is someone with deep emotional problems who hid an addiction to pills from her husband. Elizabeth Hasselbeck can identify with her because she is a weak person. And she is a blond white woman such as herself. When I viewed this video, I knew I had to post it here. Michelle Obama is a strong black woman who is beautiful & graceful. How dare this minimal media personality show such disrespect towards her! This bimbo can try to catapult women back in time by voting for John Mccain if she so chooses. Why are you so angry that Michelle Obama had subjects that she did not want broached? She emits deep bitterness in her comments on this video. Strong black women have never been viewed favorably in America. Neither has a strong black man.

For instance, the bullshit accusation about Barack Obama's cliches that came from the Mccain camp. "Lipstick on a pig" is the topic of the day being regurgitated in the biased media which is absolutely ridiculous. Unless they are all idiots, they know that this is a red herring thrown out there by the Mccain camp. Why is this all over the news when they know it was completely taken out of context. I am not involved in politics in any way & I knew what it meant. He was talking about the false claim of reform that the republican ticket is making. You cannot put lipstick on pig & think that it changes the pig. The pig is still a pig. For all you dumb asses out there, the republicans can redress their ticket as the ticket of change. But that doesn't erase the last 8 years of the reprehensible republican rule in the White House!!!! WAKE UP & VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA!!!! He understands ALL AMERICANS!!!! Look at the work that he did with the poor as a "COMMUNITY ORGANIZER" & recognize that. The republicans do not have a diverse party. It is dominated by whites. Stop being a racist & be a humanist. If you care about the economy, women's rights,& education then make that change. DON'T FALL FOR DIVISIVE POLITICAL STRATEGIES & MOVES!! DON'T BE STUPID AGAIN IF YOU VOTED FOR GEORGE BUSH BY VOTING FOR JOHN MCCAIN!! RESEARCH & REALIZE THAT AMERICA'S FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT!!!

THIS IS WHY BARACK OBAMA DESERVES TO BE PRESIDENT! WATCH!!!!

I know I said that I would post a Hilary comment. Since it is the Republican convention this week, I thought I'd write about John Mccain instead. His VP pick warrants some discussion here as well. What was his reason for choosing her? Hilary Clinton's dumb ass supporters who would rather John Mccain win than Barack Obama. If you really shared her democratic viewpoints, you must ask yourself why? You obviously have not watched the man make some serious flubs that an intelligent man would not. He looks sinister & I fear for my family's well-being if he were to win. Thankfully, I do not think that he will prevail. The voters who claim that they need to make a informed decision really need to peep this video from youtube. Here he makes the case for me. I should not have to say any thing further but I will.

Do we really want a woman VP with the mindset of the most consertative man? She is pro-life which I am to a certain degree. I am pro-choice as well. I've known some women who choose to use abortion as a birth control method. Instead of consistently taking the pill, abstaining, or using condoms they get pregnant. One girl I knew had 5 abortions. I am definitely pro-life when I reflect on those types of abortions. But if you are the victim of rape or incest, you should have the right to choose. Well, if Sara Palin & John Mccain somehow succeed so will Roe V. Wade. Think about that! And Vote for Barack Obama!
